About this artwork
My works are primarily created with acrylic paints, which I apply in multiple layers, often with a palette knife or brushstrokes that are deliberately and energetically applied. This creates a surface full of depth and movement. The contrasts in color and texture create a visual rhythm that seems to pulsate beyond the canvas.
I enjoy painting abstract landscapes, which allow my intuitive painting style to unfold more fully. My creative process… is guided by my imagination and concepts, and I experiment intensively with color compositions, surfaces, and structures.
I want to touch the viewer emotionally in a certain way without clearly depicting a specific scene, because for me art always contains the possibility of a certain subjective scope of interpretation by the individual.
