About this artwork

The story behind this piece is this, there is a blue Octopus silhouette in the background, and it came to life because of a movie on Netflix that really impressed Luis, called "My Octopus teacher", which he really suggests as a remarkable life story. It is a gifted ability to be able to connect with animals and nature as Craig does. It moved Luis in such a way that it stayed in his memory and somehow lives on in this painting now. Large scale abstract… work from the Synapse series. Intuitive, exciting, and mysterious with its own energy and enigmatic matrix as only an octopus can teach. Cold and dark tones of the sea floor contrasting with the warm ones of life, flora, and animal fauna. Thank you, Craig Foster.
