About this artwork
I sometimes imagine that light is almost a force in its own right that can take on various appearances and sometimes even different levels of reality, and therefore of materiality. Depending on its intensity, spread and color, its effect does not produce the same emotions. For me it was about crystallizing a mystical feeling through a landscape imbued with natural radiance. capacity to make change state all the elements which it permeates. It sounds like a wave heralding renewal in a somewhat desolate wild nature with an autumnal atmosphere. To bring the maximum of light, I based my technique exclusively on the superposition of the layers of colors by small touches in glaze.

Luc Andrieux is an artist based in France whose works have been presented in several solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally. For him, painting is like a vital necessity. Through his compositions, Andrieux's goal is to generate a questioning contemplation, to freeze time and to induce an atmosphere suggested by the hidden face of the elements. His abstractions, landscapes and figurative works are most often created using acrylics on canvas, oil being reserved for the treatment of more complex effects. Luc Andrieux does not limit himself to a particular style or theme that would limit his expression but chooses those that are most in line with his vision of the moment.
