About this artwork
In this work, I explored the emotional interplay between nature and human emotion, using oil pastels, resin and pigments. The vibrant blue of the pine against the golden background creates a striking contrast, evoking both melancholy and serenity. This piece is an expression of nature's resilience in the face of hardship, inviting the viewer to contemplate the quiet strength that emanates from its quiet and constant presence. The pine of my childhood…
sings words that carry dreams. I like to write in my painting: incantations to the world, stories, wild thoughts, wishes, secrets... confided to the canvas. Once the words are written, they are immediately forgotten. Explain comes from the Latin Ex Plicare, meaning to unfold. My words are therefore "folded words". Do not try to decipher my texts. Only the spirit of the wind can read them. This painting is not just a decoration; It is an open window onto contemplation and reflection, a real breath of fresh air.
