About this artwork
This painting suggest a western sunset at ocean's edge. The bronze and copper hues with a few strips of red and yellow reflect on the ochre beach. A periwinkle sky and cerulean Pacific stab at the overpowering sunset but to no avail. Diagonal abstract with horizontal orientation. Red oxide, coral, peach, lemon yellow, with cerulean blue, periwinkle, blue, ochre and cream.
