About this artwork
This work is a portrait of a girl I was with. It represents exactly what I had before my eyes at that moment: a woman full of potential, crying on her bed. What struck me wasn't just her emotional state, but the fact that, without realizing it, every gesture she made (even crying) generated something external. She was able to influence those around her, pushing others to create and do more. This concept is represented by the little flower that comes…
closer to feed on her tears, as if nothing of hers was wasted. Is that flower me? I don't know, but thinking about it now as I write this, I probably do.
