About this artwork
With this work, I wanted to capture the essence of freedom and hope through the delicate synergy between the human and the natural. The woman depicted, with her gaze turned towards the sky, symbolizes the infinite aspiration of the human soul. The bird in flight, executed with vivid and expressive touches, represents the triumph of the free spirit. Using oil, I tried to express a deep emotionality, where warm colors enhance this ethereal connection… between man and nature. This work is an invitation to reflect on our spiritual connection with the world around us.
I am a contemporary figurative artist and through my work I explore identity, memory and emotional transformation through layered portraits, symbols, textures and digital distortions. My research combines traditional painting techniques with a contemporary visual language: glitch effects, pixelated fragments, textured surfaces, and imperfect details become part of the emotional narrative. I'm interested in what exists between presence and fading, between clarity and imperfection. I work primarily with oil and mixed media, creating works that move between figurative intimacy and visual fragmentation. Faces emerge through layers, scratches, textures, pixels, and symbols, expressing vulnerability, resilience, femininity, and introspection. Every painting is born from an internal dialogue. I paint emotions that are difficult to explain: what remains in silence, what survives in memory, what breaks and rebuilds over time.
