About this artwork
In Ithaca is part of my "Stories" series; once again, the myth of Penelope and Odysseus, this time I didn't want to focus the image on the queen of Ithaca, but on the patient weariness of waiting: an elderly woman, patiently reflecting, the texture of torn canvases in the background.
