About this artwork
This painting captures that magical moment when sunlight filters through a canopy of autumn leaves, filling the forest path with shimmering colour. I used rich layers of blues, golds, oranges, and touches of red and violet to create a sense of depth and movement, as if the leaves are glowing and drifting in the breeze. The light in the center draws the eye forward, suggesting a peaceful walk into the heart of the woods.
