About this artwork
This piece evokes a sense of floral tenderness, yet feels profoundly grounded through its deep, striking color contrasts. It’s a textured riot of color, where sun-drenched yellows collide with deep purples and flashes of electric pink. It captures the delicate essence of nature while maintaining a bold, tangible reality.
This is a combination of painting and collage. My creative process begins with the physical transformation of paper – painting… and texturing each sheet before deconstructing it. By tearing and cutting these materials, I assemble them into entirely new, non-repeatable forms. Every collage is a unique exploration of composition and intent, capturing the delicate intersection between one’s inner world and external reality. Ultimately, my work is a visual reflection of lived experience.
