About this artwork

One morning on my walk, I looked up and the sky just stopped me — big, white, fluffy clouds rolling across the light. It was so beautiful I told myself, I have to paint that.

When I got back to my studio, I couldn’t stop thinking about it — those clouds, the color, the calm. I imagined a field of poppies and wildflowers, a quiet stream reflecting the sky, and mountains resting in the distance.
