Someone said to me, "what's the use of reading so many books?"
This is really a world-class problem. The philosopher Thales also had a headache about this problem. Clenching my teeth, I said: my painting has gone to the world, which requires strength.
Pure art, pure philosophy and pure science pursue spiritual enjoyment (thought). Science and engineering students are generally willing to do technology, rather than pure science.
After experience,… I understand that this real society is a secular world of material desires. Those pure artists, pure philosophers and pure scientists are all people of the ideal kingdom.
Philosophy makes people profound, history makes people wise.
What would the world be like without pure philosophy, pure science and pure art? Is reading useful in the end?
