About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the raw energy of creation, blending oil paint and found objects to symbolize Nature through the connection between the artist and their tool. The vibrant colors and abstract forms convey freedom and movement, while my recycled brushes add a tactile and vibrant dimension. Indeed, the dominant green symbolizes nature, showing humans that it is perpetually recycling itself. Black symbolizes the earth, blue represents… water and sky, and yellow alludes to the sun. This painting invites the viewer to feel the creative impulse and give free rein to their imagination.
(Featured in "101 Art Books - Abstract Edition 2025" and in the "Itsliquid Art Fair Venice 2025" catalogue following digital participation in the "Future landscape" exhibition)
Mohamed Lamine Sylla, with roots in cabinetmaking and lighting design, skillfully uses recycled wood painted with oil. Embracing contradictions and eco-responsibility, his techniques fuse repurposed objects, paintings, and furniture into thoughtful, three-dimensional compositions. His works invite contemplative reflection on love, spirituality, and environmental protection. Having been passionate about photography for a very long time, in 2025 he decided to share his passion through the most beautiful shots he had captured a few years earlier.
