About this artwork
Here`s a little fun story; Back when l was in elementary school, my parents seem to forget about the costume party we had in school. Can you guess what kind of outfit they pulled out for me? A soldierś helmet, with a tape attached that read "Make love not war". And l was like.. 9. Unsurprisingly l was the only "love soldier" in school that day.
Fast forward three decades and here l am, painting a piece called Peacemaker.
The figure is depicted… without clothing, symbolizing freedom. She wears a crown, representing the fact that power always comes with significant responsibility . Her hand resembles of wolverine , prepared to fight for herself and her loved ones if necessary. But for now, she has put away her fighting arm. And instead, she has sent forth a dove of peace spread the message that the war is over. No more fighting.
