In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a young man with a handsome, beautiful, and striking appearance. All women and men fell in love with him, but he rejected them ...
To punish Narcissus for his conceit, Nemesis, the goddess of justice, made him fall in love with his own image reflected in a fountain. In an absorbed contemplation, unable to separate himself from his image, he ended up throwing himself into the waters. In the place where his body had… fallen, a beautiful flower grew, which did honor to the name and memory of Narcissus.
In this work, Narcissus, with the body of Michelangelo's David, denies children, they are indifferent to him, they do not exist for him, and he does not want to share his ice cream.

Pablo Kontos is an Argentinian painter and photographer whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in Mexico and the United States. He describes art as his channel of connection with the imaginary and the external. Kontos often creates several pieces at once, as if he were "jumping from one bridge to another" with different thoughts, in different settings, at the same time. The titles, texts, and images depicted in his pieces are symbiotic.
