About this artwork
In my work, a tribute to the American painter Jean Michel Basquiat, I tried to capture the vibrant and dynamic essence of pop art mixed with the depth of the semi-abstract. I used acrylics to create a play of contrasts and movement, where intense blacks and nuanced grays dance with bold splashes of orange and delicate black traces.
