In creating this piece, I sought to explore the intersection of urban complexity and nature's simplicity. The bold, vivid hues and structured shapes mirror the chaotic yet rhythmical essence of city life, while the softer, undulating forms hint at nature's gentle, flowing presence. This painting is a dynamic conversation between two worlds, meant to energize and inspire contemplation in any space it inhabits.

The… "Bridge " serves as the link between the urban and rural world. There is a reminiscence of a bridge in the left upper corner with its reflection on the white. Also the gate placing diagonally on the other end, is closing the gap in the black.

Paulina Wong is a Chinese artist whose eclectic portfolio of works have earned her international acclaim. Wong began her artistic training early in life but took a break after completing her undergraduate degree to become a social worker in Hong Kong. She has since returned to her initial passion, studying at UC Irvine, exploring new ideas, and experimenting with multimedia techniques. Her artwork is sophisticated and creates pleasing shapes rendered in unique color combinations.
