About this artwork
In this work, I have sought to capture the essence of Antoni Gaudí's architecture in a surrealist way and Barcelona as the protagonist through expressionism. I used acrylics to bring to life the emotions that this place inspires in me: energy, mystery and a touch of disorientation, reminding us of the beauty of bewilderment in a city so rich in culture. Each brushstroke is another step in a labyrinth of colors and shapes, inviting the viewer to lose…

Pedro Pasquin discovered his passion for painting at an early age, but it took a long time for it to become his livelihood. He uses acrylics and oils on canvas and wood, mixing colours naturally, without following traditional techniques.
His expressionist work addresses everyday problems and criticizes the misuse of technology. His paintings reflect his worldview and concerns about modern society, inviting the viewer to reflect on the impact of technology on our daily lives.
In addition to his social criticism, he also finds inspiration in nature and human experiences, always provoking emotions with his colors and compositions without limiting himself to a single style or technique.
