In the graphic cycle Dear Metamorphoses, the artist deals with the subject, the relationship between man and woman, from a humorous point of view and with a lot of irony. The gentle and charming dominance of the woman combined with her beauty and sometimes the strange situations the man finds himself in to be perceived and attractive. These delicate and sometimes humorous relationships occupy the artist intensively with the creation of this series… of graphics. This series of graphics was created in the 90s. During this time, the artist dealt exclusively with graphics. Two zinc plates were used to make the impressions. Also a very rare technique called acid brush on aquatint. Each etching is personally signed and dated by the artist. It also bears the artist's embossed seal. The edition of the prints is strictly limited and when they are exhausted, the zinc plates on which the motif is painted will be destroyed.
« Abstract painting is the ability to realistically paint something that doesn't exist. »
Plamen Bibeschkov is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally, in Belgium and the Netherlands. His art translates the eternal struggle between darkness and light, as well as the contrasts between the storm and calm, the line and the spot, rough and soft, and warm and cold tones. Bibeschkov's striking abstract compositions are created using oils and acrylics on canvas.
