This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on reclaimed wood. This painting is one of a new series of exciting works that epitomize certain techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. There are multiple layers of color and texture on this piece and it is highly tactile and almost edible looking. This piece has a messiness and chaos in the background that adds a unique and violent texture to the surface… colors, that streak, mix and overlap on the surface to create a beautiful play of form and decay. Texture also exists on the edges of the piece as well as bumps or waves of texture on the surface to give added depth. It is truly an original and energetic oil painting and series like no other.
Note: This painting is painted on reclaimed wood and comes hang ready and with a simple, elegant white frame.
This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
