About this artwork
This diptych consists of two completely unique and original abstract acrylic paintings on canvas. They are an exercise in fluid painting and are stunning in their soft, fluid movement, contrasted by electric white. The contrast of vibrant colors makes these pieces intriguing and pop to the viewer's eye and this contrast is even more pronounced in person. There is also subtle surface texture and what appears to be tiny cracks that exist and wrap around… the canvas, giving it depth and the appearance of bone or flesh. These are beautiful in their simplicity of color palette and the emergence of forms and work perfectly and a unit. They are the perfect accent pieces for the right space and are the 102nd and 103rd in my new series of abstract acrylic works.
Note: These paintings are painted on canvas and do not come framed, however the painting continues on the edges of each canvas and therefore framing is not necessary on either.
