About this artwork
Original PMS Oil Painting On Wooden Panel - 36 x 24 inches, 38" x 26" (Framed)
This painting was recently Released from the Artist's Vault and is a completely unique and original abstract PMS oil painting on wood. This piece is a continuation into an exploration of streaking color and texture. This piece is one of my most vibrant, with texture that almost jump off the surface. The accents of color and shapes in this piece give the feeling of color… crashing into each other like waves across the surface in a dance of texture and energy. The color in this painting is vibrant, with deep, rich tones and aligns with my mantra of color, texture, beauty and decay.
Note: This painting is painted on a wooden panel and does come framed for the collector. It is hang ready.
This painting is signed on the back and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
« I paint the light and darkness that lies within us all. »
Preston M. Smith is an exciting American painter whose works have been widely exhibited across the United States. Interested in construction and deconstruction, and always seeking to work in a state of pure emotion, he composes striking abstract paintings and inventive portraits that reflect order in chaos, beauty in madness.
