In this piece, I combined oil and charcoal to capture a raw, emotional intensity. Using expressionism, I depicted a figure entwined with and submerged in glass bottles, symbolizing the overwhelming grip of addiction. The stark, elongated limbs and the clutter of bottles around convey desperation and the chaotic impact of dependence. My aim was to evoke powerful emotions about the struggle and entrapment felt by those battling their own vices. This…
