Brewed to Be Bold is an original oil painting from my Brew and Bird series, celebrating both strength and everyday rituals. A striking black cockatoo grips its coffee cup with quiet confidence, set against a deep blue background that highlights the bird’s bold feathers and fearless spirit. The hand-painted words “Brewed to Be Bold” serve as a reminder to embrace authenticity, courage, and heart.
This piece was inspired by the contrast between the… cockatoo’s fierce elegance and the grounding simplicity of a morning coffee. Through layered brushwork and a harmonious palette, I sought to capture a balance of power and serenity.
