About this artwork
This photograph was captured in Montreal during the summer of 2023 as part of my series "Mirror 2023". The exploration of lightness and suspension is at the heart of this photo, accentuated by the bubbles which reinforce this notion. The reflection, a distinctive element of the series, immerses us in an abstract interpretation of a tangible reality. The palette of blues and the fluidity of the water create a serene atmosphere conducive to escape.…

Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression.
