About this artwork
In this photo, I capture a surreal moment of a figure in rippling water and distorted light. The figure is dressed in a striking reddish-orange structure that dances through the fluid chaos. This image explores themes of identity and transformation through a ballet of color and reflection. The blend of darkness and vibrant color aims to evoke deep emotions, pulling the viewer into an otherworldly experience. The artwork immerses your space in mystery…
and intrigue, making you ponder the depths beneath our reflections. The orange barrier, seen in my introspection project at Swatch Art Peace Hotel, represents the personal blockage I faced to become an artist. It is mixed here with a figurant friend named Lucy to symbolize liberation or rebirth.

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »
