About this artwork
I created this work as a meditation on awareness and communication between human and machine. The piece combines painting with sculptural elements, allowing the surface to function as both image and object.
A polymer clay head emerges from the panel, introducing a physical presence that contrasts with the painted field. Surrounding forms reference language, symbols, and AI-generated thought, while glow-in-the-dark powder is subtly embedded, revealing… quiet shifts as lighting changes. These elements suggest layers of perception beyond what is immediately visible.
The work explores “signal” as both transmission and reception — moments where meaning, identity, and intelligence intersect in the digital age.
