Thus the serpent signified life, renewal, rejuvenation, skinning, resurrection on the one hand and death, poison and destruction on the other. She symbolized the… creative power of the earth. In ancient Greece, the snake was considered the protector of the underworld.
Eve and the snake have one thing in common. They can be beautiful and stunning, but they can also be poisonous.
