About this artwork
I was born and raised in a landlocked area, so I am fascinated by water, sea, and the coast. Especially the rough sea against the rugged rocks. The colours (blue, teal, turquoise) are just magical. I am not a very good swimmer, but I have learned to surf and canoe. Of all the coastlines - Scottish, French, Italian and Californian (as much as I have seen) I would rate Cornish the best for the colour that you find in water from a artists point of view.
