About this artwork
This listing is for a framed ink on paper 23 x 33 inch (A1) painting with a certificate of authentication.
This ink on paper drawing was inspired by the abstract expressionist Mark Rothko, an American artist who is most famous for putting 2 or 3 colours side by side. I wanted to try this method using the colours of earth – blue and green. The majority of my paintings are either blue seascapes or green landscapes. I love being in nature. When I step… into my studio to paint, those colours must influence me on a subliminal level because they always find a way into my art.
