Cityscape from memories. I’ve always wanted to draw an abstract version of a cityscape composed of the rooftops. This was part inspired from memories and part from photo references - The sketchiness of the painting represents the sketchy memory I have of the place. Flying kites on rooftops like the Khaled… Hosseini’s Kite Runner in my childhood days, is what got me thinking about painting this rooftop cityscape - Hot summer days, the bright sun and chasing kites. I miss those days.
