Susan is a California based artist whose work is driven by an unrestrained devotion to color, as energy, emotion, and language. Her paintings pulse with vibrant palettes of pinks, oranges, reds, aquas, and luminous whites, forming expressive abstractions that feel both exuberant and deeply personal.

She builds her compositions without brushes, instead using found objects in rhythmic mark‑making, circular, and sculptural textures that blur the boundary between spontaneity and intention. Her surfaces carry a sense of movement — gestures that feel alive.

Living with chronic nerve pain, Susan paints in a reclined position, close to the page, letting intuition guide the rhythm of each mark.
