About this artwork
This picture is one of my first artworks. It consists of four acrylic sheets that I painted on. Each sheet follows a symmetry, but the entire picture is asymmetrical. The first sheet has six lines per square, the second eight, the third ten, and the fourth twelve. Each color appears only once on each sheet. The arrangement is asymmetrical, as is the overall border. Only strong colors are used. They stand out particularly well against the white wooden… frame with glass.
Susanne Fritsch is a painter with a scientific background who specializes in acrylic painting and trained at the European Art Academy in Trier. She uses photographic sources and compositing to transform travel impressions, seascapes, and urban spaces into captivating, richly detailed works – sometimes representational, sometimes abstract. Her artworks radiate a profound fascination with light, color, and the ever-changing nature of the world, inviting viewers to make their own associations and embark on emotional journeys of discovery.
