About this artwork
A work part of a series dedicated to Old Havana (Cuba). This work depicts some of the many 1950s cars that still circulate the streets of this beautiful Caribbean city.
In this work, I wanted to capture the nostalgic essence of time through an old Cadillac. Using oil paint, I sought to fuse realism and impressionism to convey the history and wear and tear the vehicle carries within it. Each brushstroke reflects a passion for the classic and the… passage of time, filling any space with an energy that evokes memory, resilience, and timeless beauty.
His work shows a mixture of realistic and impressionist styles, both awakening a great interest in the current art market. Realism attracts collectors who appreciate precise technique and detailed representation, as seen in his works of urban landscapes and still lifes. The impressionistic elements, evident in his depictions of people in environments atmospheric, they are very popular with audiences interested in emotional and expressive techniques.
