About this artwork
Alien Supper is a contemporary reinterpretation of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper." Instead of Christ and his disciples, alien beings gather around a table, embedded in a neon-lit metropolis somewhere between cyberpunk and science fiction.
The composition takes up the familiar order of the Renaissance masterpiece, but alienates it with ironic details: billboards proclaim “Fresh Made HooMan,” the central figure wears a futuristic robe, and… glass vessels stand before him like ritual artifacts from an alien culture.
The work plays with symbolism and perspective: people appear as consumer goods, religion as a cultural relic, and the role of the "alien" is reversed—it's not us who are looking at the aliens, but rather they seem to be interpreting us. Thus, the image becomes a satirical reflection on spirituality, society, and humanity's place in the universe.
Tom Krisper is a contemporary Swiss artist known for his expressive oil paintings that merge abstraction with dystopian visual language.
His work explores essential themes of our time: identity, fragmentation, emotional depth, and the fragile balance of modern existence.
Tom Krisper's artistic style is defined by layered color fields, fractured forms, and atmospheric, tension-filled compositions. His paintings function as visual resonators of inner states—intense, poetic, and charged with emotion.
With an international presence on platforms such as Singulart and a steadily growing digital audience, Tom Krisper represents a contemporary artistic position that is technically refined, thematically relevant, and stylistically unmistakable. His works are both invitation and challenge—an aesthetic dialogue about what moves us, unsettle us, and keeps us hoping.
