About this artwork
"The Flow" from the Life is Beautiful series is an oil painting whose vertical brushstrokes in shades of green, blue, and yellow evoke flowing water or light. Smooth transitions create depth and harmony, while the composition evokes a lush forest or waterfall.
Shades of green represent growth and vitality, while yellow represents joie de vivre. The work invites mindfulness and embodies the natural flow of life. It can be hung either horizontally… or vertically, depending on the space and mood.
(*) Life is Beautiful combines abstract painting with woven structures inspired by Andean textiles. Like stories inscribed in fabric, colors and lines speak of identity, change, and inner resonance.

The German-Bolivian artist Toni Nohe studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and the Kraków Art Academy. She works with painting, photography, and textile art. In her abstract visual language, she combines color theory with the symbolism of Andean cultures. Her works emerge from a dynamic interplay of transparency, line, and structure. She interweaves narrative and organic elements, creating spaces that facilitate harmony, joy, and reflection. She consciously uses color as a means of promoting well-being—inspired by the findings of positive psychology. Her works have been shown internationally and are included in private and public collections in Europe, North, and South America.
