A textured abstract painting which is part of my series, ‘The Dreaming Ground’
In this piece, structure dissolves into layered movement and depth. Built through mixed media, the surface reveals hidden marks and shifting colour., with sweeping gestures softening rigidity and drawing the eye into a fluid, immersive space. Beneath the surface, earlier layers remain partially visible, creating a quiet tension between what is revealed and what remains… hidden.
This piece is designed to bring depth, calm as well as visual interest to a space, working particularly well in a living room or hallway. Hung alone, it creates a focal point. Paired with the complementary works in this series, it becomes part of a wider narrative of texture and light.
