About this artwork
This oil painting of a sunset mood was created based on my photo sketches on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Aeroe. It looks as if the fly fisherman is catching the sun. The orange-golden light of the setting sun is reflected on the sea. The sky is streaked with blue-violet clouds. The dark silhouette of the fly fisherman with landing net and line stands out against the bright water and gives the picture a meditative effect. A peaceful moment by…
the sea. The picture carrier consists of a hand-stretched, multi-primed canvas with a steel wire. The edges are painted and the picture can be hung up straight away. My signature is on the front.
