A scene unfolds, permeated by a mystical aura. It shows an old window, behind which blurry figures can be discerned, a hidden life pulsating behind the glass. The muted colors and the light breaking through in certain places are intended to stimulate curiosity and the imagination. Uwe Kobold, a natural scientist by training, lives and works south of Munich. He combines analytical precision with artistic openness. His photographic series revolve around movement, rhythm, and change—not just as visible forms, but as experiences inscribed in the images. In Tango Argentino, he condenses closeness, tension, and the fleeting nature of the moment. In portraits, he traces the traces of personality and time; his images of plants and gardens reveal growth, change, and renewal.
