About this artwork
Created in a small attic studio, seen through the frame of a narrow window, this work reflects the essence of my first Parisian autumn. Its palette echoes the colors I wore, the faces I met, the quiet moods of the metro, and the fleeting emotions that filled those days.
Among its shapes appears the subtle image of my cat. Within its layers, the city reveals itself – the outline of the Eiffel Tower, the Church, the architecture of the building where… I live, the outline of the River Seine, the metro line, the gentle green of early autumn – and, of course, the mood.

Veronika Sarma is a contemporary artist working at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and avant-garde influences. Her practice is rooted in the exploration of inner states and the subconscious, expressed through the emotional language of color and form.
She builds intuitive, rhythmic compositions in which gesture, color, and structure become instruments of transformation and inner freedom.
Drawing inspiration from the legacy of European avant-garde movements of the 1920s–1930s, the artist reinterprets their spirit through a contemporary visual language that bridges intuition and conceptual depth.
Since 2008, she has created more than 130 artworks and participated in over forty exhibitions across Europe and the Middle East, including Paris (art3f, Galerie Thuillier, Art Shopping – Carrousel du Louvre), London, Berlin, and Venice.
She has recently presented a solo exhibition in Paris (April–May) and is currently exhibiting in Geneva at The House of Art gallery.
