About this artwork
Freedom is a very personal piece for me. It speaks about that subtle, inner moment when you finally release the emotional weight you’ve been carrying — and begin to feel light again. At the heart of the painting is a hummingbird, quietly emerging from waves of color.
For me, the hummingbird represents resilience and grace — the kind of strength that doesn’t shout, but keeps going, no matter what. Its movement through the vibrant, smoke-like layers… of the composition mirrors how emotions flow through us: beautiful, complex, and sometimes heavy, but always in motion.
This painting is a reminder that freedom isn’t just about breaking free — it’s about reconnecting with your own lightness, your own truth.
