I created the still life with printer ink (from the printing shop) on very coarse sackcloth, which was then mounted on a wooden board for framing.
was fixed. The image now measures 63x51 cm.
In this work, I captured the warmth and intensity of the moment with vibrant red tones and soft brushstrokes. Oil on canvas allows me to vividly depict the depth of color and the play of light and shadow. It's an invitation to rediscover the everyday nature… of fruit as a source of life and energy, filling any home with a welcoming atmosphere.
My background—with a solid education as a color lithographer and artistic studies under painter Kurt Männel in Stuttgart—utilizes a wide range of media, including analog drawing, photography, and digital art. My technique merges analog works through digitization with innovative, computer-generated color combinations and graphic forms to create captivating compositions. I continually work at the intersection of tradition and progress, and my style celebrates the poetic connection between the analog and digital. The resulting works radiate curiosity, a spirit of experimentation, and a deep enthusiasm for the fusion of these two worlds.
