About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the vibrant energy and vivid colors that nature offers. Using Fauvism as a medium, I blended acrylics, pastels, and oil pastels to create a scene rich in texture and emotion. The bold colors and expressive brushstrokes are intended to evoke a sense of freedom and exploration. Each stroke is an invitation to lose yourself in the moment, to breathe, and to feel the tranquility and beauty of the garden.
Born in 1983, Santelli Yan is a painter who began his artistic career in the margins of Parisian art. Using mixed media, Yan* produces distinctive and intense contemporary works based on his favorite motif, the landscape. His unique artistic approach exudes an emotionally charged force, echoing his personal French and European experience and his constant interaction with his environment. Landscapes are his priority, and he has been influenced by the work of Art Brut artists. Yan* often donates a portion of his sales to charity.
