About this artwork
As a coffee addict, wine lover and a food junkie, I am very familiar with this deep, dark, meaty, pleasant savory and lingering taste called Umami, the fifth taste that hits the back of your throat and leaves you craving for more. I love having pour-over coffee, a good one, as much as I love enjoying a perfect wine for umami-rich foods. Those are most of the time my sweet escape

Indonesian painter Yenny Yohan has exhibited work in Bali and the United Kingdom. Yohan draws inspiration from music, her own experiences, and human emotions. Often drawn to more abstract work, Yohan explores texture through her use of marble powder and layered acrylics. With titles such as Liberté, Fiesta, Caffeine, and Friends With Benefits, Yohan's abstract pieces are monochromatic and structured.
