About this artwork
The depth given by the wooden panels bring the flowers more to life and a clearly view of its shapes and lines. Each flower depicts an individual, that could be me, or you, or someone you know. Each individual is unique and creative in their own way.
« Artists are powerful emotional influencers. There is never a piece of art that you don't get, the moment you look at a painting you are already thinking and feeling. »
Yihong Hsu is an artist based in China whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Switzerland, and the United States. In addition, her art has been featured in such publications as Create Magazine. Hsu employs flowers as a means of portraying the everyday human encounters and circumstances she comes across. The shapes and engaging patterns in her abstract compositions convey the narrative in each piece. Her vibrant works are created using acrylics on canvas.
