Anegué gueydan christiane

Anegué, a passionate painter trained in Bernard Darbefeuille's studio, explores a wide variety of supports, from linen to wood, including recycled materials. Her technique is fueled by free gestures: brushes, knives, fingers, and a palette of mediums, blending acrylic, oil, and natural materials. She also paints in encaustic, where she makes her own colors from bleached beeswax, pigments, and dammar resin. She favors abstraction, from which figurative elements sometimes emerge, surprising and inviting reflection. Her deeply intuitive work conveys a range of emotions from joy to serenity, but above all, an immense sense of freedom.
