« The painting process is thus my means of expressing the identity of a particular color (a red, a blue or yellow) that I want to open up to the viewer. »
The artist Ernestine Faux, born 1958 in Graz, Austria, studied at the College of Fashion and Art in Vienna (1977). She spent over 18 years in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. In 1994, while living in Bali, she decided to devote herself exclusively to painting. Since 2000 she lives and works in Graz.
