A curation by Marcos Felinto, founder and curator at 3.gallery - This curation explores the many lives of green: from the expressionist intensity of Munch to the meditative depth of Rothko. Abstract or figurative, these works reveal green as nature and emotion, growth and decay, the color of renewal and unrest. Green pulses with life and, mysteriously, stretches from the Amazon — which has long filled my gaze — to the Gothic stained glass of Chartres, from the vibrant tones of Portinari to Van Gogh’s fields and contemporary urban landscapes, always permeating humanity’s imagination as an infinite and inexhaustible color.
