The works gathered here capture the serenity of misty mornings, the energy of the abyss, and the clarity of a sky merging with the ocean. Whether it be a solitary sailboat slicing through the azure, the transparency of a turquoise wave, or the abstraction of golden reflections on the water's surface, each piece offers a moment of respite. The journey oscillates between the pure contemplation of the horizon and the almost hypnotic study of liquid movement, offering the viewer a space of calm and silence, far from the earthly tumult. Rather than simple flat washes, the artists favor techniques that play with light and depth: acrylic paint is mixed with sand or plaster to give substance to the coastline, while oil on linen or wood is applied in glazes to evoke the fluidity of the sea. The brilliance of gold leaf sometimes punctuates the paper, imitating the shimmer of the sun on the waves. The use of latex or pure pigments on canvas also allows for the creation of ethereal gradations.
