Anastasia Borodina is een hedendaagse figuratieve schilderes uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk, vooral bekend om haar iconografisch gestructureerde composities die psychologische diepgang, culturele symboliek en de fragiele grens tussen innerlijke en uiterlijke wereld verkennen. Haar schilderijen onderzoeken de transformatie van traditionele Europese symbolen binnen de hedendaagse samenleving, met een focus op de menselijke zoektocht naar betekenis, identiteit en emotionele houvast. De kindertijd speelt een centrale rol in haar werk als een vormende periode waarin patronen van zelfidentiteit en perceptie worden gevormd.
Borodina ontving haar academische opleiding aan de Ilya Repin Staatsacademie voor Kunsten in Sint-Petersburg (2012-2019) in het atelier van Yuri Kalyuta en heeft sindsdien internationaal geëxposeerd, onder meer op de prestigieuze Zomertentoonstelling van de Koninklijke Academie (2023) en de Almenara Kunstprijstentoonstelling (2025). In 2025 ontving Anastasia Borodina een Certificate of Excellence van de Portrait Society of America.
